La Prade Farmhouse and Cottage

French Farmhouse set in three acres overlooking wonderful countryside and the Pyrenees mountains.  It is set on its own making the perfect setting for a get-away-from-it-all holiday.  We have just completed a major upgrade to our pool ans it is now a fantastic place to relax besides.

La Prade accommodates up to 12 people. 

 

The farmhouse has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, kitchen/diner, sitting room and utility.  It sleeps 8 people including a wonderful family suite that is ideal for a young family. The farmhouse is centrally heated with a log-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped.

 

The cottage is next to the farmhouse with an en-suite bedroom and integrated kitchen/sitting room with a sofa-bed.  It can sleep up to an additional four people.  this combination is ideal for two families or for sharing a holiday with the grandparents.

We provide all linen and towels that you will need for your holiday. 

​

The fully enclosed 12m x 6m pool is heated and over 2m deep at one end.  It is set in an extensive paved area with sun-loungers and shades. Summer is wonderful and hot but often pools can be somewhat chilly but not at La Prade.  A warm pool can both cool you in the very hot summer days but also ensure a wonderful swimming experience.  We know how important your holiday time is; a heated pool makes all the difference.

We provide games for the garden including table tennis and petanque.

​

La Prade is about 8km from Mirepoix with all its shops and restaurants.  It is about 70mins drive from Toulouse airport and 40mins from Carcassonne.
